Do you have cameras so i can watch my pet?

At Mission Road Kennels, we have installed the latest security cameras. At this time, they are only recorded on our private servers and do not have public access.

However, we still wanted to provide a way for pet parents to keep in touch with their babies while they are away. We use the latest software that allows us to give thorough updates on all pets visiting with us with a “Report Card.” Please ask about the details when you check in!

Do You accept all breeds?

We have no regulations about breeds! All are welcome. We have several options for dog socialization and play times that allow us to handle most behavior types. However, we do reserve the right to turn away aggressive dogs.

I missed the pick up time from daycare, what should I do?

All dogs that are present after closing will be held (and charged) for boarding for that night. Dogs can be picked up after opening the following morning.

Are vaccinations required?

We do require up to date vaccinations from a veterinarian before we can accept your dog into the kennel. We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but it is for the protection of not only other dogs, but yours as well. The vaccinations we require are as follows: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. These vaccines are normally included in annual boosters and the records can be emailed directly to us or uploaded to your customer profile on Gingr.

Do I have to bring my own food?

Although it is not a requirement, we do request that you bring your dogs normal food. A sudden change in a dogs diet can lead to a digestive tract upset. We would hate for your dog to ever be uncomfortable while they are visiting with us.

However, if you are not able to bring food with your pet, we do provide food on site.

Can i bring any toys/bedding with my dogs stay?

Kennels can be a stressful environment for some dogs. Unfamiliar smells, unfamiliar sounds, and unfamiliar faces can be a lot to handle. Sometimes bringing items from home that they love or smell like you can make things easier for them. We encourage all clients to bring up to 2 items for their dogs. We just require that these items are clearly labeled with their last name and are machine washable. Also please understand that dogs sometimes can be destructive when stressed so we cannot guarantee the item will be returned in the same manner it was brought in.

I have more than one dog, how much will i pay?

Second and third dogs will receive a discounted rate.

Is flea medication required?

We do not require your pets to medicated for fleas to stay at Mission Road Kennels, but we strongly recommend it. Your pets veterinarian will be able to provide you with a product that meets your pets needs. We do our best at Mission Road Kennels to ensure that fleas are kept out, but we cannot guarantee it. All pets are thoroughly checked for fleas upon check in and if they show any signs they are promptly given a Capstar and a flea bath. This is to ensure the comfort and safety of not only your pet, but others as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call.
